Precautions for the use of sticker label in winter

In a cold environment, the viscosity of the self-adhesive material has the characteristic of weakening as the temperature decreases. The quality of adhesive labels is closely related to the external environment, especially the external temperature, which has a great impact. Generally speaking, too high or too low temperature will make the application of adhesive labels not secure. Therefore, there are many things that we need to pay attention to when sticking stickers in winter.

1. The ambient temperature of the label should meet the product requirements: normal labeling is achieved when the labeling temperature (10 ℃ -25 ℃) is met, and the product with the self-adhesive label after 24 hours can be within the use temperature range (general -5 ℃ --- 40 ℃). Any kind of self-adhesive material has a relevant labeling temperature. Below this temperature, the adhesion of the self-adhesive glue is restricted, which will lead to problems such as loose labeling and warping.

Second, the storage temperature of the label should not be too low: self-adhesive printed materials are placed outdoors or in a cold environment, it is easy to cause the material, especially the glue part to be frostbite. Without proper restoration, the viscosity and processing properties of the adhesive will be lost or lost.

3. Label preset processing: This is very important in cold areas. If the temperature of the label itself is low due to transportation and storage conditions, and even the frostbite, even if the ambient temperature of the label meets the requirements, the viscosity and processing performance will also be affected because it cannot be restored in time. Therefore, in the above cases, before processing or labeling operations, the label material should be preset in the labeling environment for a period of time (more than 24 hours), so that the temperature of the label material itself has increased, so that the viscosity and processing performance are restored .

4. Attention should also be paid to labeling: labeling pressure control and cleaning of the surface to be labeled. A suitable labeling pressure can ensure that the air between the label and the surface to be attached is discharged. Therefore, the label is firmly and flatly attached. The cleanliness of the surface to be attached is also an important factor to ensure the stickiness of the label and the flatness after being attached.

5. After the labeling is completed: the viscosity of the printed material of the sticker usually needs a period of time (usually 24 hours) to gradually reach the highest value. In addition, film labels and containers will expand and contract due to temperature changes, and paper labels are more prone to paper fiber moisture or water deformation. These changes are not conducive to the best labeling performance of glue.
